I just found out that here in Utah, fishing with corn will now be allowed in certain bodies of water next year; find out which specific Bodies of Water have been approved.
What I want to know is this: Does fishing with corn really get them to bite? Growing up I heard that fishing with corn was outlawed here because the corn was not good for the fish, and that it could actually kill the fish; apparently, that's not true. Also, contrary to what I thought, Utah was the only state out west that had a ban on fishing with corn.
This brings me to my next question, who has fished with corn and what were the results? I would like to know whether or not to keep a small jar of corn in my tackle box. Any comments or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and have a great day!
