Despite the outcome, I believe the victory of either Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump would have warranted the need to carefully consider and prepare for our future as a nation, but also our future on a personal and familiar level; that being said, I think one should take a considerable amount of time (if he or she hasn't already) to review the plans and policies the newly elected President Trump means to put in place once in office. At least by being informed and familiar with Mr. Trump and his agenda we will be able to keep a calm and level head about us that I think will be necessary, not only currently, but also as This Country goes forward.
As of late, I've heard from and seen in a lot of people so much negativity and an attitude of doom and gloom. Stirring up anger, hatred, and depression will only be detrimental and counterproductive to the progress and relationships of our families, friends, and those we interact with. WE THE PEOPLE will decide what happens next, not Donald Trump. I hope we have not become so ignorant in regards to the process of being involved in our government that we place one man at the helm of our country, close our eyes, and hold on tight. Voting is one thing, but making your voice heard takes on a lot more effort. In any case, our country has certainly seen its share of hard times and things a whole lot worse than having a billionaire business man as President. The survival of This Country doesn't depend on President Trump, or the Democrats, or the Republicans, it depends on all of us and how we choose to act or react. If we are not happy with the way things are for us, we may need to, as someone once put it, "improvise, adapt, and overcome."
