I recently used several buddy burners to get a fire going on a hiking/camping trip two of my brothers and I did; the hike up the mountainside took a lot longer than we had anticipated, and when we reached the summit, it was almost completely dark. We didn't have time to fool around hunting for firewood, so I lit a few buddy burners and within minutes we had plenty of light to get camp set up. Having the buddy burners saved us a lot of time when we were in a bind. We were exhausted and the buddy burners gave us a camp fire and time to relax and take it easy - Just another example and testament to the use of the Buddy Burner.
